TVXQ, having returned to the Japanese stage after a year, showcased their unchanging popularity by taking the top spot on the Oricon weekly charts.
Japanese media revealed that on February 1st, TVXQ , now fueled by U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin, had taken the number one spot of the Oricon single rankings right after the release of ‘Why? (Keep Your Head Down)’.
The first week’s album sales that TVXQ recorded was 231,000 copies, and this is the second highest ranked album sales for a foreign artist after the release of ‘BREAK OUT!’ in January by the five members, which sold 256,000 copies. Also, they rewrote the history of foreign artists by having nine single albums that achieved the #1 rank.
TVXQ had also received the feverish hospitality of fans after returning to the stage through ‘SMTOWN in LIVE’ held in Tokyo’s Yoyogi Gymnasium on January 25th and 26th. TVXQ has also planned to hold a live in celebration of the release of the new single on the coming 8th in Chiba.
